An icon with traditional Orthodox symbolism, depicting the Lamb of God - a symbol of Jesus Christ, represented as a white lamb with a soft glow around its head.

It is exquisitely recreated on silver wooden egg - a symbol of the Resurrection, the new life and the victory over the death.

In its right front leg, the Lamb holds a thin flag with a long cross-shaped staff. The flag is white, and the Holy Cross in red color is depicted on it - a sign of a sacrifice and triumph.

The Cross reminds of the victory of Christ through suffering and love.

A green lawn spreads out in front of the Lamb - alive and fresh, dotted with small flowers in different colors: red, blue, yellow and white. They symbolize the renewal of creation, joy and spiritual rebirth.

The background is light, in sky blue color, and symbolizes the Kingdom of Heaven.

Above the Lamb, in the upper part of the icon, in elegant Church Slavonic letters,  is written the inscription "NIKA", affirming the triumph of Christ over the sin and death.

       The inscription “IS HS NIKA” is often found on Orthodox icons, crosses and liturgical objects and carries a deep spiritual meaning.

• IS – abbreviation of the name Jesus (ΙΗΣΟΥΣ in Greek).
• HS – abbreviation of Christ (ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ in Greek).
• NIKA – comes from the Greek word νικά, which means “conquers”.

        “IS HS NIKA” means “Jesus Christ conquers” or “Jesus Christ is victorious”.

        This is an affirmation of the faith that Christ, through His sacrifice on the cross and Resurrection, has conquered the death, sin and the forces of evil.

This is a short but extremely powerful confession of the Orthodox faith.

The base of the icon is made of solid wood, selected for its density and durability.

With the dimensions of 4/6 cm., it impresses with its compact but detailed appearance.

Each curve of the egg-shaped wood is carefully polished to reflect the light in a soft and radiant way.

The surface is generously covered with 925 burnished silver, which not only gives solemnity to the icon, but also symbolizes the imperishable divine light.
